Daniel Munoz stands as the finest right-wing-back the Premier League has ever witnessed.
That's the assessment of Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, who has heaped praise on the Nottingham Forest player following his performance in the 2-1 victory at Aston Villa. Carragher's comments should be a wake-up call for Liverpool's Jeremie Frimpong.
The Reds signed the 25-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen just over a year ago to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in Liverpool's starting XI after the Englishman forced through a transfer to Real Madrid. Yet Frimpong has failed to show his best form since arriving at Anfield, as injuries restricted him to just 21 Premier League appearances last season.
Frimpong started this season as Liverpool's first-choice right-back, with fellow star Conor Bradley nursing an injury.
Yet the Dutchman has since lost his place in the starting XI to loan star Ronald Araujo, who is a center-back by trade.
While Frimpong is struggling at Liverpool, Munoz is flourishing at Forest.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher highlighted Munoz's impact as he created opportunities for Liam Delap and Xaver Schlager, while delivering the cross from which Igor Jesus netted the decisive goal.
Carragher was effusive in his admiration for a player Oliver Glasner brought with him from his former club.
Carragher said: "When I look at Munoz, we're going to look at his numbers from the weekend, distance he covers, progressive passes, all these metrics right up at the top.
"Now, I said it's so difficult to get quality wing-backs because very few teams play it, but when you think of teams in this country who've been successful with three at the back, or five at the back, we always go back to [Antonio] Conte with Chelsea.
"I think if you're going to be successful, you need at least one specialist.
"Who was his specialist? [Marcos] Alonso, left wing-back, the best left wing-back we've seen in the Premier League.
"The other team we all think about with three at the back is Crystal Palace and Glasner, the success they had over the last two or three years, and they had this guy, the best right wing-back that we've seen in the Premier League, absolutely sensational.
"I love him to bits."
