Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has a chance to go into the international break unbeaten in the Premier League but he will want all three points. The Spanish boss has one win and three draws from his first four games and next up is a reunion with his old employers Bournemouth.
The Reds have been busy behind the scenes and this week made a further addition after a busy summer headlined by Bradley Barcola's nine-figure move from Paris Saint-Germain. Iraola's expensively-assembled front line couldn't find a breakthrough against Fulham but have a chance to set things right on Sunday.
Over the years, Liverpool have had plenty of success in the transfer market but not all of the talents to rock up at Anfield have made their mark. One of those stars has now admitted he perhaps should have been more patient, having given up on his dream after a difficult start.
Here's are the latest headlines emerging from Anfield...
Farkas back at Anfield
Hungarian youngster Patrik Farkas has rejoined Liverpool for a second stint, the club have confirmed. Farkas has linked up with younger brother Erik at Anfield, returning to Merseyside after four years on Blackburn's books.
"It's a dream come true to sign here, I'm really happy and just excited to get started," said the 19-year-old, who has represented his country at youth level. "I'm enjoying being back at Liverpool, there are some new faces but it's good to meet everyone and also see lots of old friends as well.

"I'm a technical player, a box-to-box player who can play in multiple positions and try to make things happen. The coaches have just asked me to excite them, to get playing, be confident and show them what I can do. From there anything can happen. Work hard and take the next step from there."
Luis Alberto reflects on Reds spell
Former Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto didn't last long at Anfield but believes things could have been different had he been more patient. The Spaniard was brought in by Brendan Rodgers aged 20 but managed only 12 appearances, leaving on loan after just one season and eventually completing a permanent switch to Lazio in 2016.
"I came to England because of Brendan Rodgers," the 33-year-old, who now plays in Qatar, told ABC. "I knew it wasn't going to be easy; going from Barcelona B to Liverpool was a big change, and that was to be expected. I trained, did what they asked of me, and got a few games and some playing time.
"I always say I made a mistake by not accepting reality. I should have stayed longer, even if it would have taken me some time to break into the plans, I wasn't patient enough, and I left the following year."
