Cole Palmer has been banned from Twitch after giving supporters an unexpected early look at EA Sports FC 27.
The Chelsea star went live on Tuesday and streamed himself playing the unreleased game and opening Ultimate Team packs more than two days before its official early-access period begins.
Palmer remained live for more than an hour before the broadcast was brought to an abrupt end.
The situation became even more amusing when EA Sports FC’s official Twitch account appeared in his chat during the stream.
EA questioned why Palmer had started playing ahead of schedule and reminded him that a planned broadcast was due to take place at 6pm UK time.

Palmer was quick to react on social media.
The 24-year-old tagged Twitch and EA Sports FC on Instagram and joked that he was **“only giving the people what they wanted”** before asking to be unbanned.
He also responded to FUT Sheriff’s coverage of the incident by writing: **“We back soon.”**
EA Sports FC 27 enters early access on Friday before its worldwide release on 25 September.

That makes Palmer Chelsea’s third-highest-rated men’s player in the new game.
