The Carabao Cup fourth round draw takes place tonight, with potential blockbuster ties in store.
Once again, due to the scheduling of European fixtures this season, the third round ties have been played across two weeks, starting September 8/9 and concluding September 15/16/17, 2026.
Action began last week with Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Sunderland - competing in the Europa League - beating Lincoln, Middlesbrough and Hull City respectively at home, before Chelsea defeated Leeds in a renewal of a long-standing rivalry at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal and Liverpool both took their places in the fourth round without much trouble. The Gunners dispatched Ipswich 4-2 at Portman Road, while Andoni Iraola’s men dumped Tottenham out with the help of a Dominik Szoboszlai stunner.
Wednesday night sees Manchester United face Brighton at home, with Everton, Aston Villa and Fleetwood also in action before Manchester City host Norwich in the final game of round three on Thursday.

When is the Carabao Cup draw?
The draw will take place today, Wednesday, September 16, 2026, following the conclusion of the Man Utd vs Brighton tie.
It is expected to start around 10.15pm BST.
