**Arsenal fullback Ben White picked up a groin injury during the 2-0 win over Sunderland at the weekend.**
The 28-year-old was forced off at halftime, with Jurrien Timber taking his place for the second 45 minutes at the Stadium of Light.
No further update has been provided on White’s fitness, but it has been reported that he wasn’t in training on Monday ahead of the Carabao Cup tie [**against Ipswich Town**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-predicted-lineup-vs-ipswich-carabao-cup/).
It seems unlikely that the defender will be available again before the international break.
**Expected Return Date – Unknown**
Cristhian Mosquera
------------------
Speaking before the Sunderland fixture, manager Mikel Arteta said he was optimistic that the Spaniard would be back for the Ipswich match:
“He’s doing really well. Let’s see if he can get \[back\] for this game, it will be around that time.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as if Mosquera was training with his teammates on Monday either.
Based on Arteta’s remarks, though, it looks like it will not be long before we see the centre-back back in action.
**Expected Return Date – Saturday 19th September vs Brighton (a)**
William Saliba
--------------
It appears as if the France international has a long way to go before he is back playing matches. He has already spent two months on the sidelines with a back injury that forced him to leave the pitch in the first half of the World Cup semi-final.
Asked about Saliba’s progress at the beginning of this month, Arteta revealed that the 25-year-old had not even started rehabilitation yet:
“We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different – we know we have to respect certain timings.”
“The progression has been really positive in the last few weeks, but we need to wait and see how that one reacts when we start to put some load into it.”
