The New York Knicks have been in contact with free-agent big men James Wiseman and Duop Reath as training camp approaches, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
"Others the Knicks have been in touch with as training camp nears: big men Duop Reath and James Wiseman," Begley reported.
The interest comes as New York continues to add depth before camp. The Knicks have already signed John Konchar to a one-year deal, while Drew Eubanks is joining on a camp contract and will compete for a roster spot.
New York also has three open two-way spots. According to the same report, one is expected to go to second-round pick Tyler Nickel, while big man Liam Robbins, who signed an Exhibit 10 deal on Tuesday, will compete for another.
Former Knicks two-way player Kevin McCullar Jr. has also been working out informally with several New York players this month and could be in the mix for the remaining spot.
