Train with Everton legends and sit in the dugout– for £25,000

**Everton supporters are being offered the chance to get about as close to being a footballer as most of us are ever likely to manage – provided they have £25,000 to spare.**

The extraordinary LGNDS VIP Immersive Experience is available around the Game for Hope at the [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) Stadium on Saturday, September 26, when former Everton and Liverpool players will join other famous names for a charity match.

For £25,000 per person, guests can stay at the official team hotel, join players for selected meals, travel with the squad and even train with the teams at the official training day on the Friday.

It doesn’t stop there. The package includes access to selected team and manager briefings, the pre-match team environment and the manager’s team talk, before guests join the players pitch-side for the warm-up. They can then take a place in the dugout as an honorary member of the matchday team.

A personalised kit, accreditation, signed shirt and premium match access are also included, along with admission to the official post-match celebration. It is undoubtedly an extraordinary experience, although £25,000 for a weekend inside the ropes is another reminder of how far the finances of modern football have travelled from the game’s working-class roots.

There is a little extra irony at Everton, too. When Moyes first arrived at Goodison in 2002, he famously described Everton as “the people’s football club” – a phrase which struck such a chord that it became part of the club’s modern identity.

Twenty-four years later, the people can still get remarkably close to the action. They’ll just need £25,000 to do it.
