Chelsea made a transfer move for Lamine Camara which fell apart at the last moment, but as per the latest news the Monaco midfielder has refused to dwell on it. Now, with Liverpool interest growing, his next move could be one of the stories to watch.

As reported by TEAMTALK, Camara has spoken about his failed Chelsea move and says he has moved on. The 22-year-old was close to joining the Blues after Monaco agreed a deal worth around £47M. Camara had also held talks with head coach Xabi Alonso and had completed his medical. Yet, with only hours left, the move was stopped by Monaco.
The Senegal star called the period difficult, but said such things are part of a professional player’s life. He said he stayed focused and did not want to spend time thinking about what had happened. The late twist was linked to Folarin Balogun’s proposed transfer to Everton. Monaco were ready to let Camara go when Balogun’s move looked uncertain. When that deal changed again, the French side decided to keep both players.

The failed Chelsea move has not ended Camara’s Premier League hopes. It may have opened another door.
