Dallas Mavericks announced their full coaching staff for the 2026-27 season.
As previously reported, former University of Michigan head coach Dusty May will take over as the Mavericks' new head coach.
He will be joined by former New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green, as well as recently retired 16-year NBA veteran Garrett Temple, who will begin his coaching career in Dallas.
The Mavericks also announced five additional assistant coaches for the upcoming season: Joe Boylan, Drew Williamson, Mody Maor, Rob Fodor and Sam Hershberger.
Mavericks enter new season with younger roster
Dallas will head into the new season with a significantly younger roster than in recent years.
The Mavericks are expected to be led by rising star Cooper Flagg, who is coming off a Rookie of the Year campaign, alongside All-Star guard Kyrie Irving.
Irving will be the second-oldest player on the roster next season as he returns after missing roughly a season and a half.
Dallas also added former No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher in a midseason trade, giving the Mavericks another young cornerstone as they reshape the roster around a younger core.
