As the Los Angeles Lakers enter their first season in the post-LeBron James era, they'll be hosting an Austin Reaves bobblehead night in December. In a 2026-27 campaign in which the Lakers will unveil a Phil Jackson statue as a salute to the head coach who guided the franchise to three consecutive championships from 2000 to 2002, fans will receive a bobblehead of the sixth-year guard.
The Lakers' Reaves bobblehead night will be on December 27, when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.

Alongside All-Star Luka Doncic and newly acquired center Walker Kessler, Austin Reaves will lead the Lakers as one of the three pillars of the team's immediate future. Reaves signed a four-year extension worth $180 million over the summer.
Austin Reaves excited to lead Lakers alongside Luka Doncic
After cementing his immediate future with a four-year extension, Lakers' Austin Reaves is eager to lead alongside Luka Doncic. Doncic, who missed the Lakers' playoff run last season, which ended in a 4-0 sweep in the second round against the Thunder, is expected to return healthy for the 2026-27 season.
Reaves reflected on his relationship with Doncic after inking his four-year extension during the offseason, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
“Luka, he’s one of my best friends on this planet; I talk to him almost every single day,” Reaves said. “He sends me videos of his golf swing & asks me what he can do to get better & I tell him I’m not a coach.”
Doncic suffered a Grade-2 left hamstring injury in a regular-season matchup against the Thunder on April 2.
