Arsenal can make it seven wins from seven - eight including the Community Shield - before the international break if they are victorious at Brighton on Saturday.

‌

The Gunners have made a flying start to the campaign, setting the tone as Premier League champions and Mikel Arteta will want to maintain that momentum this weekend down on the South Coast.

‌

This particular fixture was a hotly-contested battle in March when Arsenal ground out a 1-0 win over Albion. After the game, Fabian Hurzeler accused the visitors of time-wasting and there was plenty of debate in the aftermath of the clash which played a part in shaping the title race on a night where Manchester City drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest.

‌

Arsenal are well-rested following their 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich Town and there should be plenty of changes to the starting XI (potentially as many as nine).

David Raya will come in between the sticks in place of Kepa Arrizabalaga. Raya has been in excellent form lately, having kept out an Enzo Le Fee penalty last weekend at Sunderland.

Jurrien Timber should start at right-back given he was rested against Ipswich, though he might not be able to complete the entire game. If he cannot start, maybe Martin Zubimendi or Cristhian Mosquera (providing he is fit) can slot in instead - assuming Ben White hasn't recovered from his groin problem.

The centre-backs currently pick themselves, with Ezri Konsa poised to feature alongside Gabriel Magalhaes. Both played 45 minutes each at Portman Road earlier this week.

At left-back, Riccardo Calafiori should be restored to the starting XI as he was handed a full night of rest on Tuesday while looking to continue his excellent start to the season.

In midfield, we could finally see Bruno Guimaraes unleashed alongside Declan Rice following his thunderbolt at the Stadium of Light.

Slightly ahead of them, Martin Odegaard operates as the advanced midfielder with Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis on either flank.

Tzolis' form has dipped in recent matches but Eberechi Eze is yet to earn the chance to start a Premier League game after failing to impress against Napoli or Ipswich.

The same applies to Viktor Gyokeres, whose performance against the Tractor Boys was heavily scrutinised online. Kai Havertz remains first-choice in attack and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.

The German looks sure to lead the line, though impact subs will be needed from the bench. Max Dowman could be in line for a cameo after his two-goal showing in midweek. Potential Arsenal XI vs Brighton: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Guimaraes; Saka, Odegaard, Tzolis; Havertz.
