The New York Knicks are actively looking to move Pacome Dadiet in a salary-dump trade after adding several veterans ahead of training camp, according to NBA reporter Evan Sidery.
Dadiet, New York's No. 25 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, carries a cap hit of roughly $3 million for the 2026-27 season. The Knicks also hold a team option on his contract for 2027-28.
Previously, New York agreed to training camp deals with John Konchar, Bruce Brown, Ochai Agbaji, James Wiseman and Drew Eubanks. All five veterans will compete for an open standard roster spot.
According to SNY's Ian Begley, the Knicks would have to trade a player already on an NBA contract if they wanted to keep two of those veterans. Otherwise, New York will likely have to decide between keeping a big man and a wing.
Dadiet appeared in 29 games last season, averaging 1.7 points and 0.9 rebounds in 4.7 minutes while shooting 33.3% from the field and 21.9% from three.
The 21-year-old forward also made seven playoff appearances on the way to the championship, posting 2.9 points over 5.7 minutes.
Dadiet is entering his third NBA season and has appeared in 47 regular-season games for the Knicks since being drafted in 2024.

New York currently has all three of its two-way spots open.
Begley expects second-round pick Tyler Nickel to receive one of those deals, while Liam Robbins will have a chance to compete for another after signing an Exhibit 10 contract.
Kevin McCullar Jr. also remains on the Knicks' radar. The former two-way player has been working out with New York players during informal sessions this month.
