So now, when a screenshot from an Oklahoma City Thunder fan has gone viral, many people assume the profanity-laced messages shown are from Kevin Durant. A TikTok post went viral showing the alleged conversation between a Thunder fan and the Rockets’ superstar.
Thunder Fan: “Hey KD… Just checking back in . Still waiting on you to make up for leaving us here in OKC. Think you could show our fundraiser a little love? ”
Kevin Durant: “F–k y’all and your fundraiser. I don’t owe u s–t. Do you not get it??? I’ma explain it to you, Karen. I don’t give a f–k about you or your life. That’s simple. Please leave me alone”
Thunder Fan: “I am sorry; I literally was just joking. I understand you don’t know my precious grandson or me, and no, you don’t owe us anything. I was just truly asking if you would be interested in supporting this school. Have the day you deserve.”
TikTok user ‘KaitSierra | DS mama’ claimed this was a conversation between her and the former Thunder player who left the team in 2016 to join the Warriors.
“To think this is someone we all used to idolize,” she wrote in the caption about Kevin Durant.
