“He Isn’t Happy” – Manager Makes Frank Admission About £34M Rated Man Utd Transfer Target

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has revealed that Man Utd target Alejandro Balde “isn’t happy” about his lack of playing time.
The Spanish international has played just 12 minutes of football this season, and Flick has spoken out on how the player is handling the situation:
“We have five full-backs, two on the right and three on the left. Nobody expected Xavi Espart to play at this level. Balde must give his best. He’s already doing that in training…”
“[He] isn’t happy, because he wants to play and isn’t getting any playing time. He’s been key over the last two years. Things change. There’s a different dynamic; we have to manage it. He’s handling it well; I’m pleased with him. It’s not an easy situation; it’s a battle for a place in the team.”
Balde could be on the market in January
There is still a chance that the 22-year-old will see his fortunes improve between now and the New Year, but he has TWO players ahead of him in the pecking order, Espart and Joao Cancelo.
With that being the case, Balde is likely to be available when the transfer window reopens, and it is believed Barca would be willing to sell him for around €40m (£34m).

Will Man Utd make a move for the left-back?
Luke Shaw’s recent fitness problems will have reinforced the belief that the club need to add competition in his position. The Red Devils were offered the chance to sign Balde last month, but the Manchester club were only keen on a loan deal without an option to buy.
Their stance may have changed by January, but they could face competition from other teams. Both Liverpool and Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in the defender over the past few days.
