Eden Hazard Delivers Glowing Verdict On Chelsea Forward Trio

Chelsea legend Eden Hazard says he has enjoyed the link-up play he has seen from Morgan Rogers, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer.
The trio have been lethal in front of goal since the start of the season, and when prompted to assess their performances, Hazard said:
“I like it, I like it when they link together. Of course, I want them to score a lot of goals.”
When asked if they can reach the level of the front threes he played in at Stamford Bridge, Hazard replied:
“I think [they’re as good]; we need to give them time. Rogers is new; Cole is a bit old[er] now, but yeah, he still has the quality. Like I said before, I just want to see them have fun out on the pitch, scoring goals and as a Chelsea fan, we want them to win things.”
Chelsea’s front three has been in outstanding form
Rogers has made 7 goal contributions (3 goals and 4 assists) in all competitions, Pedro has 6 (3 goals and 3 assists), and Palmer also has 6 (4 goals and 2 assists).
Considering that Xabi Alonso’s side have only played 6 times (before the clash against Brentford on Friday night), it is a phenomenal return.

Pedro’s injury is a big blow
It has been confirmed that one of the lethal trio will be spending some time on the treatment table. There were concerns earlier this week when Joao Pedro was not pictured in training with the rest of the first-team squad.
Those fears turned out to be warranted as Brazil have revealed that Pedro has pulled out of the two friendlies against Australia later this month.
At the moment, it is unclear what sort of injury the 24-year-old has picked up, but he won’t play again before the Blues return to action after the international break in October.
