Anthony Edwards calls out LeBron James for not joining him in Minnesota image
LeBron James made headlines this offseason when he decided to part ways with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team he had called home since 2018. He clearly felt Los Angeles was no longer the best place for him to pursue a fifth championship.
There was no shortage of teams interested in James in free agency, including the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, they couldn't quite beat what the Philadelphia 76ers were able to offer.

The Timberwolves were actually one of the favorites to sign James, but their pursuit came up short.
Getting Jaylen Brown proved to be a massive move by the 76ers in landing James. He signed a two-year contract worth the veteran minimum, proving just how much he believes in Philly's roster.
It seems Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has taken James' decision to heart. Not only has he discussed it this offseason, but Edwards made fun of James in a new adidas ad.
"You see where big dog ended up? He was gon' join me in Minnesota, but I guess his knees couldn't handle the cold weather. It's cool, though. We know why he really made that decision; Philly got some of the best barbers in the world," Edwards said.
"Between him and ol' boy from Boston, they gonna have a whole lotta enhancements going on in the locker room."
Edwards once again proves himself to be one of the NBA's funniest stars. Of course, it also shows his competitive fire.
Not even James is safe from Ant's trash talk.
