Brentford star Kevin Schade is a "name to monitor" as Arsenal look to upgrade their attacking options for Mikel Arteta.
The Germany international has enjoyed a strong start to the season for the Bees, scoring three goals in his first four Premier League outings for Keith Andrews' team.
Schade has been rewarded for his fine form with a place in Jurgen Klopp's Germany squad for this month's UEFA Nations League fixtures against Netherlands and Greece.
Interest is certainly going to be there for Schade in January if he continues to progress at his current rate, with the player already building on an impressive 2025/26 season which saw him register eight goals and four assists in 39 games for Brentford.
“He’s been excellent,” said Andrews on Schade after his double at Bournemouth last weekend. “The way he’s attacked everything we’ve done, regardless of where he plays, what he gets asked to do with the ball, without the ball, there’s such an honesty to his game.
“I felt like it’s been bubbling with him. The goals, you can see the goal he scored against Leeds, the confidence he’s playing with, and today the way he took those two goals again was really nice.”
According to football.london's Arsenal correspondent Tom Canton, Eli Junior Kroupi and Kevin Schade are "both names to monitor" as the Premier League champions attempt to add to their attack.
Christos Tzolis was the only incoming signing at the Emirates Stadium in the summer despite letting Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli depart.
Arsenal did make moves for Morgan Rogers, Vinicius Junior and Julian Alvarez prior to the summer transfer window closing for business but, unfortunately, they never came to fruition.
When it comes to adding to their options on the left flank, Schade would do exactly that for Arteta and also give him a further option up front due to his versatility.
Improving with each passing season at Brentford, Schade may find himself on the move sooner rather than later if he continues to excel in the Premier League for the Bees.

Schade may well be the next player Brentford cash in on after previously selling fellow attackers Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa for £65million and £55million respectively.
The former SC Freiburg man has developed into a star for Brentford and they will find it extremely hard to keep hold of him if his outstanding start to the season continues between now and January.
When it comes to Arsenal looking to add to their options on the left-wing, Schade makes a lot of sense as he is Premier League proven, he has the ability to find the net on a regular basis and he has pace to burn.
Schade, clocked as one of the fastest players in the Premier League last season and who claims he is the 'Premier League's fastest player', is already an excellent player but the opportunity to work under Arteta and play with a better calibre of players will take his game to a whole new level.
