Chelsea travel across West London on Friday night looking to continue a record that somehow feels completely at odds with everything we’ve seen so far this season: the Blues are unbeaten in their last five away trips to Brentford.
Which is nice, because we need confidence inspired for this one.
It’s been an erratic start to the season, to put it politely. Some games have been genuinely entertaining, while others have felt like watching a group project where nobody read the brief.
