Two familiar names feature in the latest Everton transfer gossip, with fresh reports concerning Richarlison arriving as Jarrad Branthwaite continues to attract interest from Real Madrid.
Both stories have been included in the latest BBC Sport transfer roundup, although the Branthwaite link will already be familiar to Everton supporters.
Real Madrid continue to be linked with Branthwaite
As we reported earlier today, GOAL claims Real Madrid are considering a move for Jarrad Branthwaite.
The 24-year-old is reportedly valued at around £80m by Everton, with Manchester United also among the clubs linked with him. There has been no reported bid or formal approach from Madrid.
Branthwaite signed a new five-year contract last summer, keeping him at Everton until 2030, so there is no immediate pressure on the Blues to sell.

Everton unlikely to revisit Richarlison deal in January
Football Insider reports that Everton have no immediate plans to make another move for Richarlison when the transfer window reopens.
A possible return to Merseyside was discussed during the closing stages of the summer window but ultimately came to nothing, leaving the Brazilian at Tottenham.
Richarlison’s contract is due to expire next summer, which will inevitably keep his future in the conversation. His history with Everton will probably ensure the links never disappear completely either.
For now, though, the latest report suggests another attempt to bring him back in January is unlikely.
That is the more significant update here. Everton were willing to explore a reunion only a few weeks ago, but there appears to be considerably less appetite to reopen those talks when the next window arrives.
Of course, January is still more than three months away, and circumstances can change quickly. As things stand, however, the prospect of Richarlison returning to Everton appears to have receded.
