Eberechi Eze
Arsenal have started their season in picture-perfect fashion, with six wins from six in all competitions and just three goals conceded in the process.
The reigning Premier League champions have won all four games in the top-flight against Coventry, Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Sunderland, while they also had dominant performances in the Champions League against Napoli, and EFL Cup against Ipswich Town.
Mikel Arteta's side has been fairly settled so far this season, with new signing Christos Tzolis making the left wing position his own since arriving from Club Brugge, while Ezri Konsa and Bruno Guimaraes have made an impact too.
But with the marquee attacking signing not arriving at Arsenal during the summer window, there was more expectation on the senior forwards to step up this season.
Viktor Gyokeres has lost his place in the side to Kai Havertz, and there are major question marks about his future at the club. But another player who is struggling majorly at the moment is Eberechi Eze, and there is a concern that he may also be at the end of the road of his Gunners career.
The England star started his first game of the season against Napoli in Europe but lasted just 66 minutes before being substituted as the team chased a goal, while he also started against Ipswich and registered an assist during the 4-2 win. But his overall performances have left plenty to be desired.
Since arriving from Crystal Palace two summers ago in a deal worth around £65m, Eze has had big moments at Arsenal, but has never really established himself as a regular in the lineup.
He scored a hat-trick in the north London derby against Tottenham, but then didn't register a single shot on target in the Premier League until the two sides met again three months later, where he scored twice. He also scored a stunner in a 1-0 win over Newcastle as they team won the Premier League title, but this season that won't be enough.
Eze has now more than adapted himself to the way Arsenal play, but hasn't been able to stamp his quality on a starting spot. Martin Odegaard has fought for his spot centrally, Tzolis has leapfrogged him on the left, and Max Dowman continues to impress wherever he is selected.

Eze Must Step Up or Go
Arsenal's Eberechi Eze celebrates scoring vs Tottenham
There is no doubting the quality that Eze has, but his stylistic fit to Arsenal seemingly just isn't it. The 28-year-old is a more relaxed, luxury type of player, who lets his brilliance in the final third speak for itself.
But at Arsenal that isn't allowed. You must work hard for the team, and combine with the rest of the team in attack rather than being a maverick who can win it all yourself. Unless Eze finds a way to change his game entirely at this stage, then it feels like time is probably running out on him becoming a regular starter.
With so many changes at the club, and Arteta always looking for ways to improve, don't be surprised if this is Eze's last season at the Emirates Stadium.
