Christian Norgaard remains unavailable as he waits to make his competitive Everton debut following his summer move from Arsenal.
Moyes revealed before the Tottenham game that the midfielder’s recovery had taken longer than expected, saying: “We expected him to be on the grass by now.”
Norgaard is not expected back before the trip to Hull City.
Merlin Rohl is the other concern. He suffered an injury against Manchester United and subsequently missed both the goalless draw at Tottenham and Wednesday’s cup win over Wolves.
Everton otherwise came through the Spurs game without an obvious fresh problem, while Moyes rotated his side against Wolves in midweek.
Any further update from the manager’s pre-match press conference will be added here.
Jack Taylor is expected to miss the trip to Merseyside with a knee injury, while Azor Matusiwa and Emersonn are doubts.
Emersonn picked up a problem during Ipswich’s 3-2 win at Crystal Palace and subsequently missed Tuesday’s 4-2 Carabao Cup defeat against Arsenal.
That could open the door for Zian Flemming, who came off the bench to score Ipswich’s 90th-minute winner at Selhurst Park.
Jaden Philogene has returned from injury and started against Arsenal in midweek, giving O’Neil another attacking option.
No. Saturday’s game kicks off at 3pm and falls within the traditional UK television blackout.
It will therefore not be shown live on Sky Sports or TNT Sports.
Everton v Ipswich will be available live on Peacock in the United States, with kick-off at 10am ET.
Peacock’s schedule lists its coverage from 8.50am ET.
Everton go into the game unbeaten in six matches in all competitions, but Ipswich have already shown enough since promotion to suggest this should not be treated as a routine home assignment.
Their two league victories include last weekend’s 3-2 win at Crystal Palace, secured by Flemming’s late goal after Palace had been reduced to 10 men.
