The inaugural Game4Hope will no longer take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Everton and Liverpool legends are set to join forces with celebrities and other football icons to raise vital funds for Shelter and Everton in the Community while helping tackle homelessness across Merseyside and beyond.
The fixture is set to see an all-star Merseyside XI take on a Rest of the World XI. Famous faces taking part include Everton legend Peter Reid and Liverpool great John Barnes as joint managers of the Merseyside XI, with Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry, Phil Jagielka, Yakubu, Robbie Fowler, David James, Ryan Babel, Jari Litmanen, John Aldridge, Joleon Lescott and Louis Saha.
Tony Bellew, Big Zuu, Molly McCann, Still Ryan, James Nelson-Joyce and John Bishop are also involved in the event. Tinie Tempah will perform, as part of the half-time show.
The Rest of the World side includes Brazil World Cup-winning captain Cafu, Champions League winners Clarence Seedorf and Jaap Stam, former fellow Netherlands international Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and more.

The event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 26, was planned to take place at the home of Everton FC, Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, in an update shared on Everton's X page today (September 18), fans were informed that the event will take place at a different venue.
The post reads: "#Game4Hope will now take place at Goodison Park on Saturday 26 September, giving some of football’s biggest names – and a host of Everton and Liverpool favourites – the opportunity to return to one of the sport’s most iconic stadiums."
The Blues left their former home of Goodison Park after 133 years on May 18, 2025 to move into Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Since then, the Toffees' women's team has taken up sole residency.
Hill Dickinson Stadium, which cost £800million and took three and a half years to build, sits in a picturesque location at Bramley-Moore Dock and can hold 13,000 more fans.
