NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Pelicans announced Friday (Sept. 18) the team signed forward Saddiq Bey to a multi-year contract extension.
Bey appeared in 72 games for the Pelicans last season after missing the entire 2024-25 campaign due to an ACL tear, according to officials with the Pelicans.
The Villanova product has played in 364 career games across five NBA seasons.
“Saddiq represents the culture we are establishing in New Orleans with his toughness, work ethic, and commitment to the team,” said Pelicans Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars. “He approaches every day wth a professional mindset, and we are excited about the role he will play in our future.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
