Future of Patrik Farkas lies at Liverpool as of now
As reported by Liverpool’s official website, Patrik Farkas has signed for Liverpool’s academy side. He will be included in the club’s U-21 squad and will play under manager Robert Page. It will not be any new experience for the youngster as he has played in Premier League 2 while he was at Blackburn Rovers.
The Hungarian talent previously joined the Reds in 2021. That time he was 14 years old and had represented the U-15 or U-16 teams . Just after one year, he left Anfield and joined Blackburn Rovers academy to accelerate his development. He continued to grow in Blackburn’s junior ranks from 2022 to 2026. Moreover, within these four years, he was sent to some non-professional clubs of England on loan.
The young central midfielder’s contract at Ewood Park has ended this summer. The player wanted to give himself another chance to play for Liverpool. He gave his trial with the Premier League club which went on for a long time. After finishing his trial, he put his signature on the contract papers of the Merseyside club. Liverpool have officially announced his signing.

How would Patrik Farkas help Liverpool’s junior team?
Patrik Farkas would be joining the U-21 side which is managed by Welsh manager Robert Page. Patrik’s brother, Erik Farkas Leonard plays for Liverpool’s U-18 team. Liverpool U-21 are currently sitting 19th on Premier League 2 table. The Reds have got just 1 win in 3 matches. Last year they finished 7th.
Farkas would definitely improve the team’s midfield with his football experience. If he shines enough, he may get called by the senior team next season. Upon joining his previous club which was his ambition, he is very happy. Farkas said, “It’s a dream come true to sign here, I’m really happy and just excited to get started. I’m enjoying being back at Liverpool, there are some new faces but it’s good to meet everyone and also see lots of old friends as well.”
The Hungarian said something about his profile, “I’m a technical player, a box-to-box player who can play in multiple positions and try to make things happen. The coaches have just asked me to excite them, to get playing, be confident and show them what I can do. From there anything can happen. Work hard and take the next step from there.”

Liverpool need a reliable midfielder
The Reds have not tasted a defeat this season yet. Andoni Iraola’s side have eliminated Tottenham out of the Carabao Cup in the third round. But in Premier League they have got 1 win and 3 draws.
The right-back issue is solved after Ronald Araujo’s redemption performance. However, Iraola desperately needs a holding midfielder who will control the tempo of the game. As reported by Football 365, Liverpool will go for Monaco’s Lamine Camara to solve that problem.
