LAST IPSWICH GAME
The experienced official was last in charge of the Blues' 2-2 draw away to Chelsea in the top flight during the 2024/25 season.
Attwell, who also officiated the 2025 FA Cup final, booked Alex Palmer and Sam Morsy in the game at Stamford Bridge.
Stuart Attwell returned to officiating in the Premier League in October 2014.

His last game was their 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in April 2026. They have won 14 times when he has been in charge, drawing seven and losing the other 13.
This will be his first game officiating at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
2026/27 SO FAR
Attwell has taken charge of three games in all competitions this term - including two Premier League fixtures, his last being the 1-1 draw between Brighton and Leeds United earlier this month.
In total, he has handed out 17 yellow cards and one red this season, awarding one penalty.
Wade Smith and Steve Meredith are due to be the assistant referees, with Ruebyn Ricardo and Andrew Kitchen on fourth official and VAR duties respectively. Josh Smith will be assistant VAR.
