Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison has reportedly been the subject of another transfer bid, just a couple of weeks after being linked with a move to Everton. The Blues were credited with an interest in re-signing the Brazilian before the summer transfer window closed, but a deal never got over the line.
Richarlison was not included in Tottenham’s 25-man squad for the Premier League earlier this month, and did not feature in the north London club’s defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
As a result, Richarlison will not be able to get any Premier League minutes for Spurs until after the January transfer window, at the earliest, but only if he is restored to the club’s officially submitted squad.
While Everton were linked with a move for Richarlison, interest was also reported from the Saudi Pro League and Brazil, yet no agreement could be reached, leaving Richarlison's situation unresolved.
A new report from ESPN has claimed that United Arab Emirates side Shabab Al Ahli submitted an offer to Tottenham in an attempt to secure Richarlison's signature.
However, the report further claimed that Spurs turned down the approach from the UAE-based club, managed by Richarlison's fellow countryman Andre Jardine, though the precise fee put forward to Tottenham was not disclosed. The transfer window in the UAE remains open until September 28.
It has also been reported that Tottenham intend to retain Richarlison at the club until the turn of the year, before considering potential exit routes in the January transfer window.
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi recently provided an update on Richarlison's situation, which emerged prior to the striker's absence from the Carabao Cup loss to Liverpool during midweek.
"Yes [it would have been better for Spurs and the Brazilian to part ways], but I stay in the middle," the Spurs boss said. "I can't say nothing more because it's not my job.

"I can answer about the results, the players in the squad, [and] the defensive phase, but not other things. What I've done at the beginning of this season has been to speak with him and propose an extension of the contract.
"If he says no, then thank you, I'm finished with my job."
De Zerbi added: "I said last press conference, I know what happened in the last 45 days. It's not right if I explained. It's not my behaviour. The relationship and the problem is with the player and the club. And I stay inside of the club.
"It's coach and club together because at the start of this season, I spoke with him many times to convince him to stay, and he didn't want to. I can't go every day to pray for him to stay."
