Chelsea's poor recent form in the Premier League has continued with the Blues beaten by Brentford 3-0 on Friday evening.
Xabi Alonso's side have now been beaten in two of their last three top-flight games with Jaidon Anthony's second-half header and late goals from Igor Thiago and Fabio Carvalho ensuring a miserable night for the visitors.
It was a quiet first-half at the Gtech Community Stadium. Brentford occasionally posed a threat from long throws while the Blues had a couple of chances through Pedro Neto and Morgan Rogers but the two teams went in all square in a rainy west London.

In the second-half, however, Brentford posed more than a threat from set-pieces with Anthony handing the Bees the lead from a corner. Jannik Schuster's header across goal was met by Anthony at the far post around an hour in.
Thiago made it 2-0 to Brentford later in the second-half, tapping in the rebound after Kevin Schade's shot was saved. Carvalho then put the icing on the cake for Brentford with their third deep into stoppage time.
Below, football.london rates the Chelsea players out of 10.
Emiliano Martinez - Made a couple of straightforward saves. His kicking was bizarre yet again. 5
Wesley Fofana - Disappointing night. Too often got dragged out of position and he was also wasteful in possession at times. 4
Maxence Lacroix - Probably Chelsea's best defender but that's not saying much. He will be disappointed with his display, especially after giving the ball away for the second goal. 5
Levi Colwill - Again, not at his best. Maybe it's playing on the left-hand side of a back three. Based off this season's evidence, it doesn't suit Colwill. 5
Pedro Neto - He struggled. So far, he's done a good job at right wing-back but it wasn't one of his best games against Brentford. Wasteful in possession and in the final third. Chelsea's worst performer. 4
Jordan Henderson - It was an encouraging debut for Henderson despite the result. Passed it well and was very vocal out there. 6
Valentin Barco - The Argentine made his full Premier League debut for the west Londoners. Barco is a real livewire out of possession, constantly harassing the opposition with his pressing. 6
Pep Chavarria - The Spaniard is electric down the left-hand side. Looks very useful indeed and presents an alternative profile to Jorrel Hato. Chavarria defended well, while also providing a threat in attacking areas. His decision making at times lowered his rating. 6
Cole Palmer - Very early on, Palmer was punished for being too honest and staying on his feet. In reality, Chelsea's No.10 should have gone to ground and he probably would have been awarded a penalty. The Blues would have wanted to have got Palmer involved in more dangerous positions but were unable to. 5
Morgan Rogers - Had a couple of half-chances in the first period. Beaten far too easily for the Anthony's goal. His poorest showing in a Chelsea shirt to date. 4
Danny Welbeck - His first Premier League start for the Blues. In truth, it was a quiet one for the 35-year-old striker. Chelsea looked to have missed Joao Pedro, which is hardly surprising and no slight on Welbeck. 5
Geovany Quenda (on for Welbeck 72') - Good to see him get some minutes. Unfortunately, Quenda didn't have the desired impact from the bench. 5
Josh Acheampong (on for Fofana 72') - Not great for Brentford's second goal. 5
Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli (on for Barco 87') - Great for the 16-year-old to make his Premier League debut, albeit in difficult circumstances at 2-0 down. N/A
Estevao Willian (on for Neto 87') - The sub came too late. N/A
