The Miami Heat have made a major move to keep one of their key rotation guards in place long-term.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Heat guard Pelle Larsson has agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract extension that includes a mutual option for the 2030-31 season.
Per earlier reports, Larsson was eligible to sign a four-year extension worth as much as $93 million.
Larsson is currently entering the final year of his existing contract and is set to earn roughly $2.3 million this upcoming season.

The 44th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, Larsson has emerged as another under-the-radar success story for Miami.
After averaging just 4.6 points during his rookie campaign, the Swedish guard took a major step forward in the 2025-26 season.
Larsson started 54 of his 70 regular-season appearances for the Heat, averaging 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 26.4 minutes per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the field.
With Miami entering a new era following the arrival of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Heat have now made it clear that Larsson is expected to remain an important part of their long-term core.
