The Miami Heat are moving forward this season with an intriguing roster featuring Giannis Anteokounmpo and a “championship” mindset that could pay big dividends. The Heat missed out on a possible free agent addition who left the Timberwolves and will open training camp on September 29.
On Friday, Miami's newest superstar was seen embracing the Miami Vice lifestyle as he shared pictures that had fans talking. The former Milwaukee Bucks NBA champion was shown drinking what appeared to be espresso in an outfit that was classic South Beach all the way.

Antetokounmpo averaged 27.6 points per game with the Bucks last season but quickly realized he was in a situation with little hope of contending for a championship. The Bucks dealt him to Miami, an area he seems to be embracing as the fall NBA season draws near.
The Heat are a wild card in the Eastern Conference this season with the former Bucks superstar leading the way next to Bam Adebayo, who scored 83 points against the Wizards last season. Andrew Wiggins will add athleticism and defense from his forward position while Davion Mitchell will play the role of fast break-leading point guard and perimeter ballhawk.
Coach Erik Spoelstra will return for his 19th NBA season and he's got options to work with as he begins to learn his team's roster. Guard Pelle Larsson signed a contract extension that will add to a feeling of excitement and stability.
Antetokounmpo, Adebayo and Spoelstra are some of the biggest names in the game with plenty of talent to show off. How they mesh on South Beach could determine how far they go this year, and whether or not they continue to enjoy the Miami scene as well as Antetokounmpo appeared to be doing on Friday.
