How to watch Brighton v Arsenal live today

Arsenal - Brighton & Hove Albion

Saturday at 3pm is still the Premier League’s most protected slot. The idea is simple: keep as many supporters as possible heading through the turnstiles in the Football League rather than staying on the sofa.

That is why so many fixtures vanish from the UK listings. Sky and TNT can have the lunchtime and tea-time games, but the traditional kick-off is left off live television.

Radio, club apps and social updates then do the job instead. If you have a ticket you travel. If you do not, you follow the commentary and the minute-by-minute feed.

Brighton against Arsenal kicks off at 3pm UK time today at the Amex Stadium. It is Arsenal’s fourth away match in a row and the last league game before the first international break of the season.

The fixture will not be shown live on television in the United Kingdom. Official club guidance is to use Arsenal.com or the Arsenal app for live updates and commentary.

BBC Radio 5 Live is carrying national audio coverage. Local listeners can also follow it on BBC Radio Sussex.

In the Republic of Ireland the official broadcaster list includes Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier Sports. In the United States kick-off is 10am Eastern, 9am Central, 8am Mountain and 7am Pacific, with USA Network, Peacock, fuboTV and Telemundo among the listed options.

Elsewhere the picture is the usual patchwork. Australia has Stan Sport, much of Europe is on Canal+ or Viaplay depending on the country, and Germany is on Sky.

There is no legal free live stream in the UK while the 3pm blackout is in force. Highlights will follow later on the usual Premier League platforms once the full round of Saturday games is complete.

Team news heading into the afternoon has Brighton missing a long list of senior players, including Kaoru Mitoma, Yankuba Minteh, Jack Hinshelwood, Mats Wieffer, Stefanos Tzimas and others. Arsenal have William Saliba out with a back problem, with late checks on others after Friday’s final session.

If you are going to the Amex, get there early. If you are watching from home in Britain, it is radio and the club feed from 3pm, not a highlighted channel on the guide.
