Eagles get exciting Week 2 INT prediction that has a strong chance of coming true image
The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-0 to start the 2026 season and now face the Tennessee Titans on the road for their second game of the year.
After a strong defensive showing in Week 1, the Eagles are looking for their first takeaway. Against Cam Ward and the Titans, this is as good as the time there will be for the team's first interception or fumble of the year.
ESPN's Seth Walder believes as much as well, predicting that new Eagles cornerback Riq Woolen will secure his first interception as a member of the Eagles in a dominant Week 2 performance against the Titans that could actually happen.
Riq Woolen predicted to get first Eagles INT in Week 2 vs. Titans
"Riq Woolen, CB, Philadelphia Eagles: 34 coverage snaps, 1 reception allowed for 7 yards on four targets, 1 interception," Walder predicts.
Woolen getting his first interception with the Eagles in Week 2 would not be a surprise. He's a polarizing cornerback, but he has a knack for the ball when in coverage.
In his NFL career, Woolen has 12 interceptions, including six in his rookie Pro Bowl season. Now with the Eagles after four years with the Seattle Seahawks, Woolen has a great chance to get his first Philadelphia INT this week against the Titans.
In this matchup against the Titans and Cam Ward, he'll be tasked with covering rookie Carnell Tate, veteran Calvin Ridley, and maybe Wan'Dale Robinson, Elic Ayomanor, and/or Chimere Dike.

Woolen will have more chances throughout the 2026 season to intercept quarterbacks, but after Jayden Daniels held onto the ball well for the Washington Commanders, Ward might not be as protective of the ball this week.
A Woolen interception would not be a surprise at all in Week 2. The matchup is great, and Vic Fangio is playing him on every snap so far.
He'll get his chances this weekend against the Titans, especially with Quinyon Mitchell locking things down on the other side of the formation.
