Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior was caught up in a confrontation following Paris FC's 2-1 victory over his former club Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
The 42-year-old had been in charge at Strasbourg before making the switch to Stamford Bridge earlier this year, and reunited with Le Racing fans for the first time since his departure.
Rosenior's spell at the Blues lasted merely four months before BlueCo, who also hold a stake in the French outfit, relieved him of his duties.
His exit to Chelsea encapsulated why significant numbers of Strasbourg fans remain frustrated with the club's ownership structure.
The former Strasbourg manager allegedly faced verbal hostility from supporters throughout the match, and proceeded to celebrate provocatively in front of them once the final whistle had blown.
The 2-1 triumph means Rosenior's team remain undefeated after five fixtures, with Paris FC sitting second in the standings, allowing him to have the final word against his previous employers.
Paris FC took the lead through Ilan Kebbal in the 18th minute, before Pablo Pagis doubled the advantage shortly before the hour mark.

Strasbourg pulled one back late on via a Moustapha Mbow own goal in the 88th minute, with tensions escalating shortly afterwards.
Following the final whistle, Rosenior made gestures towards the Strasbourg faithful in celebration of the result, prompting Le Racing defender Lucas Hogsberg to tell him to cease.
Strasbourg players surged towards their former boss, while Paris FC players also converged on Rosenior as a skirmish erupted.
Players and staff were involved in the coming together, as Rosenior was guided towards the home supporters to mark the occasion, raising his arms aloft in delight.
It wouldn't have been the reunion that Rosenior wanted, having spoken warmly about his former club during his pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture.
He said: "I have a lot to thank, the opportunity that I got in Strasbourg. We had an incredible experience there. Learned a lot from many different people.
"A lot of very, very good people helped me when I was there, and I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.
"You always want the job you're in to be a success, and yeah, it hurt to leave a club so early when you feel you can make something very successful. It hurts anyone."
