Week 1 kick returner Ashton Dulin has been ruled out for this week with an ankle injury, so the Colts have called Gould up from the practice squad. Gould served as the team’s primary returner of kickoffs and punts last years, but the 2024 fifth-rounder has been relegated to the taxi squad for this year.
As expected, with longtime long snapper Zach Wood getting placed on IR yesterday with a calf strain, New Orleans will call up Daly, who was signed to the practice squad yesterday.
A couple teams appear to be calling up some insurance for tomorrow. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Raiders tight end Brock Bowers are listed as questionable for Sunday, so those teams respectively elevated Johnson and Myarick.
