The games have been coming thick and fast for Arsenal in the early part of the season but now there's a bit of a break. Not that everyone will have time off, with plenty of squad members off on international duty.

‌

Fans now have a three-week wait until they can watch the Premier League holders in action again. That will come in the form of back-to-back home games, against Leeds United on October 10 and Lille three days later.

‌

Mikel Arteta has already seen some of his new signings contribute, not least with Bruno Guimaraes' crucial goal in the win at Sunderland. However, those already at the club have also done their bit.

‌

One such player is Max Dowman, whose future has been debated after his brace in the Carabao Cup. We've got the latest on him and on another teenager eyed by the Gunners.

Dowman could still make loan move

Arsenal starlet Max Dowman has impressed already this season but could yet spend time out on loan this season. According to BBC Sport, the Gunners would be open to sending the teenager to a club which could aid his development.

Dowman's double in Carabao Cup triumph at Ipswich on Tuesday represented his first senior brace after one Premier League goal last term. Mikel Arteta has already let academy talent Ethan Nwaneri join Borussia Dortmund on loan and has addressed the future of the next wonderkid off the production line.

"We will evaluate every six months where we are and what is the best thing for him to do and then make the right decision," the boss said before Saturday's trip to Brighton.

"It depends on a lot of factors. What he needs, and what the team needs as well, the availability we have in the squad, the minutes that he is playing and the qualities of those minutes. We have to be open, but now the focus is to be here and to impact the team."

Austrian teenager Luca Weinhandl is the latest young prospect to be associated with Arsenal, with other Premier League sides also linked. The teenager scored his first Champions League goal for Sturm Graz during a qualifier against Hearts over the summer and has made himself important to the Austrian team at the age of 17.

Sturm boss Fabio Ingolitsch shrugged off any transfer talk despite plenty of noise surrounding the midfielder. "These days, you can put so much information into someone that all sorts of rumours are formed. We couldn't care less," the boss said.

"We know what we have in Luca, that he's a highly talented player who, at 17, plays as if he's already played countless international matches. A very special lad, we know that, and yet we can all put it into perspective and are very happy that he's with us. He will help us immensely this year. ".
