Estêvão remains without a Premier League start under Xabi Alonso after again being restricted to a late cameo in Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat at Brentford.
The Brazilian entered in the 87th minute on Friday, leaving him with only limited opportunities to influence another difficult Chelsea performance.
Despite starting twice in the Carabao Cup, Estêvão has been named among the substitutes in all five of Chelsea’s league games.
There is still a chance Estevão pushes to leave Chelsea if he’s not a first team regular this season.
The player does not currently want to leave.

Estêvão opportunities remain limited
Fresh reporting from UOL details just how restricted his Premier League involvement has been.
Estêvão has played only 47 league minutes this season, appearing four times from the bench and never entering before the 75th minute.
That is a notable change after he made 18 starts across all competitions last season.
Alonso has maintained that the 19-year-old is training well and will receive opportunities during a long campaign.

John Terry has also backed the winger to become difficult to leave out once given a sustained opportunity, as covered in our recent look at Terry’s Estêvão prediction.
For now, that opportunity is still yet to arrive in the Premier League.
