Sullivan first announced himself in July 2024, becoming the youngest footballer ever to feature in an MLS fixture at the age of 14 years and 293 days - a feat that eclipsed Freddy Adu’s previous benchmark by under a fortnight. It also crowned him the youngest athlete to turn out in any of North America’s leading professional sports leagues at the time.
