Former No. 1 NBA Draft pick Kwame Brown delivered a harsh assessment of LeBron James, questioning how the four-time NBA champion compares with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in the biggest moments.
Brown acknowledged James' remarkable longevity and the numbers he has accumulated throughout his career, but argued that he does not belong in the same category as Jordan and Bryant when games are on the line.
"I say that because they put him in that category. I don't see LeBron in that category. His longevity got him the numbers, but in big moments I see him as regular," Brown said on The BasketBall Show.
"LeBron can shy away from the moment at times, and I've never seen Kobe or MJ shy away from that moment. That's what they're built for."
Not the first time Brown has criticized LeBron
This is far from the first time Brown has publicly criticized James.
Last season, Brown took aim at James by suggesting that the former Lakers superstar was more focused on accumulating individual stats than on his team's success.
Brown has also criticized Bronny James, questioning the younger James' development in his second NBA season and argued that some high school players had displayed more talent.
Brown went even further by claiming that Bronny's place in the NBA was a result of "politics."

Brown was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft by Michael Jordan's Washington Wizards, becoming the first player drafted directly out of high school to be taken first overall.
He went on to spend 12 seasons in the NBA, playing for seven different teams.
Brown's career never reached the heights typically associated with a No. 1 overall selection. He finished his NBA career in 2013 with averages of 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds across 607 appearances.
