Barcelona have offered an injury update on Andreas Christensen after Saturday’s win over Sevilla.
The Dane was forced off after suffering a muscle injury and is now set for a spell on the sidelines.
Barca have now issued a statement to confirm the nature of the injury.
”Tests carried out have confirmed that first-team player Andreas Christensen has a muscle injury to the rectus femoris of his left quadriceps.
“He will be sidelined for the next few weeks, and his recovery will determine when he is available to return.”
Hansi Flick has already spoken about Christensen, saying he will miss the next “few weeks.”
Let’s hope Christensen can recover quickly and be ready to return after the international break.
