Denis Zakaria sends Chelsea message after £47m Lamine Camara collapse
Former Chelsea midfielder Denis Zakaria has aimed a playful message at his old club after Lamine Camara’s failed move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea came close to signing the Monaco midfielder on deadline day, with Sky Sports reporting that a £47million agreement had been reached before Monaco pulled out.
Camara subsequently remained in France.
Zakaria has now revealed that he told his teammate Chelsea was a good club, but life was “better here” at Monaco.

Camara has since stressed that he is focused on Monaco, telling the club’s official website that he has moved on from the disappointment.
Chelsea’s interest had gone significantly beyond initial scouting.
