**Virgil van Dijk and Liverpool kept another Premier League clean sheet as they secured a 1-0 away win against Bournemouth.**
After recording shutouts vs Ipswich Town and Fulham, the Reds seem to have sorted out their defensive frailties, which is a big boost for Andoni Iraola.
Van Dijk was once again solid at the back, but it was his centre-back partner Jeremy Jacquet who picked up the Man of the Match award.
And the Dutchman was full of praise for the new signing, who he believes has a lot to give this season.
“I think he has shown a lot of good things so far this season,” said the Liverpool captain via the [BBC](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/live/cm780vzql09qt#LiveReporting).
“Still so young, a lot to learn and a lot to give. Let’s keep it going. It’s very important for us to get goals, Alexander Isak included.
“It was a good win here, a clean sheet and we go to the international break before bracing ourselves for a very intense period.
