There was barely any fans inside Celtic Park following the nightmare 1-0 defeat to Rangers - but the fans that remained didn't hold back on the struggling stars.
It was all Celtic fans watching the dismal display by Martin O'Neill's men as the Scottish champions fell to a third defeat in a week - and the second to their rivals.
And as the punters cleared out captain Callum McGregor didn't hang around as he headed for the tunnel, leaving his teammates to fulfil the lap of dishonour and applaud the furious fans.
Instead, footage on social media shows Cameron Carter-Vickers facing up the punters and taking the team towards the Green Brigade in the North Curve section.
And while the likes of Kieran Tierney and Carter-Vickers trudged the turf in a tense atmosphere, it was Chelsea loanee Shim Mheuka who complete the circuit of Celtic Park alone.
Clips have surfaced showing the 18-year-old - who was only given a one minute cameo off the bench - applauding the fans at all sections of the park by himself as the rest of the squad walked off the pitch.
It's the second time in a week that McGregor has been accused by irked fans of ditching the lap of honour - having cut short his role in the proceedings following the 3-1 defeat to Ferencvaros in the Europa League on Thursday.
One fan on X said: "I appreciate Callum McGregor was hurting just as badly as the rest of us after Celtic's total capitulation to Rangers but to yet again cut short the lap of honour was not a good look." Another chimed in: "That's poor from Cal again."

A punter had a different take adding: "The guy was getting booed, why would he walk towards that! He is devastated by all this." A diehard continued: "The truth is we need to get away from this lap of honour."
One noted: "Well done to Shim Mheuka for showing his appreciation of the support - which was fully reciprocated."
On Thursday night it appeared McGregor was exiting for media duties, but Carter-Vickers fronted up to the Sky Sports cameras at the full-time whistle on Sunday.
He said: "Hard to put your finger on one thing. We played a bit too random. We need to get better at that, getting a script and sticking to it.
"The last two games we've played have been big pressure games. As players, you rely on having something to fall back on.
"We haven't had the time to get that. As players, we can do better for sure. It's something we can improve on.
"There's a lot of new players at the club. It's about getting everyone on the same script. The group are together like we've always been. We need to find consistency.
"I agree with the manager, I don't think there was much in the game. Neither team were particularly good. There's a lot we can improve on but I'm confident in the group we have."
