KANSAS CITY (WRTV) — The Colts head into halftime leading the Chiefs, 20-17.
The Colts started hot, scoring a touchdown on their first drive of the game. Daniel Jones found Tyler Warren for a 1-yard score. Following an interception by Jones in the second drive of the game, the Colts scored on three straight drives. Jonathan Taylor put the Colts ahead with a 24-yard touchdown.
The Colts defense has struggled to contain the Chiefs, allowing the Chiefs to score on three of their first four drives of the first half. They did force a punt on the Chiefs final drive of the first half.
Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce went to the locker room on a cart with a left heel injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
The Chiefs are set to receive the ball to start the second half.
