Comedian Nikki Glaser jokingly called out Cris Collinsworth 'gushing' over Patrick Mahomes ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs 'Sunday Night Football' win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Sunday's NFL action concluded at Arrowhead, with Mahomes and the Chiefs defeating the Colts in overtime 33-30, in a game that saw Travis Kelce, playing in front of Taylor Swift, impress.
It was a thrilling back-and-forth contest, with Mahomes, playing just his second game since tearing his ACL, also impressing for the Chiefs. The three-time Super Bowl MVP threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns, going 32-of-47 passing. He also looked mobile on the ground, scrambling for a 13-yard rush at one point.

Such has been the brilliance of the Chiefs over the course of the last decade, they have made more than their fair share of appearances on 'Sunday Night Football'. As a result, Collinsworth has had plenty of opportunities to call games involving Mahomes.
The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver turned broadcaster is a huge fan of Mahomes, with him often 'gushing' over him on the NBC broadcast, something which can rub fans of the other 31 NFL teams the wrong way.
However, ahead of Sunday's matchup at Arrowhead, NBC's pregame promo, featuring Glaser, poked fun at Collinsworth's love of Mahomes.
"You can never count out the Chiefs," said Glaser during the promo video, adding, "You think you're done seeing Andy Reid in chicken commercials? I don't want to live in that world."

She then turned her attention to Collinsworth. "And you know Collinsworth is going to keep gushing over Mahomes changing his arm angle," she added. The promo then included a line from Collinsworth saying, "Ohhhhh man, stop it."
However, while the NBC promo video was light-hearted, some fans were left frustrated by the heavy focus on the Chiefs.
"Nice of you to completely ignore the Colts," wrote one fan on X. A second commented, "Absolute f------ joke that the Colts were just ignored in any promos."
A third said, "Is NBC announcing to support THEIR favorite team or both teams playing the game. You’re disgusting and should be banned from announcing any game."

A fourth said, "Couldn’t have been anymore cringe even if you tried. What the actual f--- was that?! What happened to being neutral? Do better NBC."
A fifth said, "I’m glad everyone is calling out nbc for this bs, this is a national broadcast you can’t just act like the other team doesn’t exist even though we all know your cheering for the chiefs just shameless and disgusting."
And a sixth commented, "Is there a different channel to watch the game? This was rough."
