Liverpool continued their unbeaten start to the Andoni Iraola era with a narrow victory at Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon. Alexander Isak netted the only goal with his fourth in five Premier League games this season to earn an ultimately deserved 1-0 win.
Iraola's side now head into the extended international break having taken nine points and opened their Champions League and Carabao Cup campaigns in successful fashion.
But there was plenty that went unnoticed or under the radar during the 90 minutes at the Vitality Stadium...
Milos miffed
Milos Kerkez was back at Bournemouth for the second time after leaving. And he was given a bit of rough treatment from some of his former colleagues as referee Michael Oliver turned something of a blind eye.
In one first-half incident, Kerkez was left fuming as he picked himself up from the turf after being booted by an unpunished Ryan Christie.
But there was a more encouraging message from skipper Virgil van Dijk, who shortly afterwards made a point of praising the left-back after a determined piece of defending.
Iraola reunion
Kerkez, of course, wasn't the only former Cherries man making a return to the South Coast, with Andoni Iraola and members of his coaching staff back having left and subsequently moved to Anfield in the summer.
And the Reds boss was deep in chat, having a catch-up with former colleagues on the Bournemouth payroll after completing his post-match media duties.
It was somewhat warmer than the cursory acknowledgement of Iraola's existence in the programme notes of chairman Bill Foley. That's gratitude for you.

Classy Alisson
There were plenty of signs of the bond that is being formed between this new-look Liverpool squad - and the Academy youngsters aren't being left out. When substitute Lewis Koumas won a pressure-relieving free-kick late on, both Alexis Mac Allister and Jeremy Jacquet made a point of going over to congratulate the striker.
The fans are also beginning to warm to the Reds once again. After the game, Alisson Becker made a point of sprinting over to the away end and handing his jersey to a youngster at the front of the stand.
And there was an appreciative chant for Dominik Szoboszlai, who hasn't always been flavour of the month with supporters of late.
Isak exits
The mixed zone - the area where footballers usually desperately try to avoid talking to the waiting media after the game - is a place for some strange sights.
There was Trey Nyoni and Joe Gomez among a group of players doing what can only be described as warm-down weights outside the dressing room.
And Alexander Isak politely declined the invitation to discuss his goal while carrying a suitcase he was then seen finishing packing before getting off. As quick an exit as his finish for the winner.
