Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season is all but over, though the second week of action saw a number of stars sustain scary injuries.
Among those who were included on the injury list following their respective Week 2 games were star quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. Williams' injury left Chicago Bears fans in stunned silence, while Daniels' gruesome elbow injury forced social media users to look away.
Elsewhere, Dallas Cowboys star Cobie Durant suffered a hamstring injury, though fans were more concerned about the moments leading up to the team's announcement, after a teammate stepped on a very sensitive area of his body.

With how physical the NFL is, it is expected that players will sustain injuries every week and this week is no different. The only consolation in a situation where a player is injured this week is that there are over 10 weeks left before they can return to action.
There are some injuries, however, that are difficult to come back from, effectively ending their season before it truly began.
