Arsenal next five fixtures after international break as Leeds awaits

Arsenal enter the international break with almost three weeks to prepare for a demanding run across the Premier League and Champions League.

Mikel Arteta’s side return to action against Leeds United on Saturday 10 October, looking to respond to the 3-0 defeat against Brighton that ended their perfect Premier League start.

The Premier League has confirmed that Leeds’ visit to the Emirates Stadium kicks off at 12:30 BST and will be shown live on TNT Sports.

Here are Arsenal’s next five competitive fixtures.

Arsenal vs Leeds United

Arsenal’s first assignment after the break comes at home to newly promoted Leeds.

The fixture was moved from the traditional Saturday afternoon slot after being selected for live television coverage.

It also gives Arteta’s injured defenders a valuable recovery target.

Our continually updated Arsenal injury news hub tracks Ben White, Piero Hincapié, Cristhian Mosquera and William Saliba throughout the break.

White and Mosquera are among the players Arsenal will hope to have closer to full fitness by 10 October.

Arsenal vs Lille

There is little recovery time before European football returns.

Lille visit the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 13 October at 8pm BST.

UEFA confirms the game is Arsenal’s second Champions League league-phase fixture after their opening 1-0 victory away to Napoli.

Our evergreen Arsenal Champions League fixtures guide tracks every European game throughout the campaign.

Arteta will therefore have to balance his Leeds selection with another major fixture only three days later.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal

Arsenal then travel to the City Ground on Sunday 18 October.

Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30pm BST, with the Premier League confirming Sky Sports coverage.

The trip begins a particularly demanding sequence.

Arsenal face Forest away, Bayern away and Everton at home within seven days.

Squad depth will become increasingly important.

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal

The standout fixture comes at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday 21 October.

UEFA’s official league-phase schedule confirms an 8pm BST kick-off.

Bayern represents Arsenal’s toughest European assignment of the opening three matchdays and arrives only three days after the trip to Forest.

How Arteta manages minutes across those two games could become one of the defining selection questions of October.

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal complete this five-match block against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday 24 October.

Kick-off remains scheduled for 3pm BST.

Because the game falls inside the Saturday afternoon broadcast blackout, it will not be shown live by a UK broadcaster.

The Premier League’s October schedule currently keeps the fixture in that traditional slot.

International break gives Arteta valuable preparation time

The schedule explains why the current pause could prove important.

Nineteen Arsenal players have been selected for international duty, with our international break tracker following every call-up, fixture and appearance.

Those remaining at London Colney can focus on recovery and preparation following the Brighton setback.

Arteta’s side then face five matches in only 15 days.

Supporters can track the entire campaign through our evergreen Arsenal fixtures and results hub.

The immediate objective is Leeds.

After that, the schedule becomes relentless.
