Agencies move early when a teenager starts skipping age groups. A Youth League cameo, a first-team training session and a pre-season appearance with the under-21s are the points at which representation stops being a family conversation and becomes a contract.
That is how academy careers now run. The club still owns the football pathway. The agent handles the rest: scholarships, image rights, international eligibility and the first professional deal.
A global firm with Premier League names on its books signing a Hale End schoolboy is also a signal. It means somebody outside north London has been watching the same clips as the coaches at London Colney.

Gersh Football have signed Arsenal academy midfielder Mikael Bonaventure Yetna. The agency, launched this year after Gersh bought UK outfit PLG and merged it with You First, already represents Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarrod Bowen, Jordan Henderson and Alexia Putellas among others.
Yetna was born on 11 October 2010 and is still 15. He joined Arsenal from Ryan FC and has come through Hale End as a midfielder who can also play at right-back and on the right wing.
He made his under-19 debut as a late substitute against Club Brugge in the UEFA Youth League last December while still an under-15. In March, Mikel Arteta brought him into senior training ahead of the FA Cup tie with Mansfield.
He featured for the under-21s in a pre-season friendly at Boreham Wood in July and, the same month, scored and assisted in a 5-1 under-18s friendly win over MK Dons. Jeorge Bird has described him as energetic, physically strong for his age and always looking to push forward.

He is eligible for England and Cameroon. Some reports have also linked him with other national options through family background. He has a Puma deal already, unusual at his age even by Hale End standards.
Gersh Football is headquartered in Spain, with a new UK office added when PLG came on board. That UK presence is the relevant part for an Arsenal scholar heading towards a first professional contract.
None of this changes his day-to-day football. He remains an academy player, not a first-team squad name, and the next steps are under-18 and under-21 minutes rather than a senior debut.
What the signing does is put a large agency next to one of Hale End’s faster-tracked midfielders. After Max Dowman and others have shown how quickly that pathway can open, Yetna now has representation that already works at the top of the English and European game.
The club’s job stays the same: keep him playing, keep him progressing, and decide when a scholarship becomes a professional deal. Gersh’s job starts with that next contract.
