Another huge chunk of entries from Circa Sport's NFL Survivor and Grandissimo contests were eliminated after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Cleveland Browns in Week 2

A monumental NFL Week 2 upset caused more than $7 million worth of entries to be wiped out of two famed Las Vegas contests.
The second Sunday of the 2026 NFL season is now complete, and just like in Week 1, an unlikely upset caused thousands of entries across Circa Sports’ Survivor and Grandissimo pools to be eliminated.
Last week, it was the Los Angeles Chargers’ loss to the Arizona Cardinals that wiped out thousands of entries – worth more than $10 million – in the two Las Vegas-based season-long contests. In Week 2, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defeat to the Cleveland Browns swept away another huge chunk of participants.
According to Circa Sports, 6,061 out of 16,935 remaining entries in the Circa Survivor pool, which requires a $1,000 fee to enter, were eliminated as a result of the Bucs’ unlikely defeat in Week 2.
In Circa Grandissimo, which has an entry fee of $100,000, 14 out of 49 remaining entries were eliminated by Tampa Bay’s loss.
The total value of those entries comes out to more than $7.4 million, according to Yahoo Sports’ Ben Fawkes.
Both the Circa Survivor and Grandissimo contests follow core NFL survivor rules. Entrants must pick one NFL team to win straight up each week, and each team can only be used once per season. If your selected team loses or ties, your entry is eliminated.

Unlike standard 18-pick pools, Circa requires 20 total picks: one for each of the 18 regular season weeks, plus two additional standalone picks for the Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas game slates.
Circa Survivor began the season with 25,017 entries and has a prize pool of $25 million, while Grandissimo started the season with 77 entries and has a prize pool of $7.7 million.
Through two weeks, more than half of the entries in both contests have been eliminated, largely due to the Buccaneers and Chargers.
In Week 2, Tampa Bay was considered one of the biggest favorites on the board as 8.5-point favorites at home against the Browns.
Instead of defending home field as many expected, Baker Mayfield and the Bucs were outplayed down the stretch, and, after a 132-minute weather delay late in the fourth quarter, failed to piece together a go-ahead touchdown drive and lost 23-19.
Tampa Bay dropped to 0-2 with the loss, while Deshaun Watson and Cleveland improved to a 1-1 record.
The Browns were one of five teams, along with the Vikings (at Bears), Bengals (at Texans), Saints (vs. Ravens), Raiders (at Chargers), to win their games outright after entering Week 2 as an underdog.
