Subway Players Cup fixtures
The Subway Players Cup continues on Wednesday 23 September, with eight matches taking place across England as clubs from the Women’s Super League and WSL 2 turn their attention to the cup competition.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Aston Villa are among the WSL sides in action, while London City Lionesses travel to Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion host Charlton Athletic.
Six of Wednesday’s matches kick off at 7pm, followed by two later fixtures at 7.30pm and 7.45pm.

Eight matches across Wednesday evening

Manchester United are at home against Sheffield United, with Liverpool taking on Sunderland at St Helens Stadium. Everton also have home advantage as they welcome Birmingham City to Goodison Park.
The final two matches start slightly later. Leicester City host London City Lionesses at 7.30pm, before Brighton & Hove Albion face Charlton Athletic at 7.45pm. The competition gives clubs another route to domestic silverware alongside their respective league campaigns and the Women’s FA Cup.
