Kyler Murray is back as the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell announced Monday that Murray has cleared concussion protocols and will start Sunday afternoon when the Vikings play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Murray was injured just 11 plays into the team’s season-opener against Green Bay. Veteran Carson Wentz replaced him and led Minnesota to wins over the rival Packers and Chicago Bears, throwing for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions across two games.

However, the passing attack at Chicago seriously struggled, and the team will hope Murray’s return (and better weather) can spark the offense.

At 2-0, Minnesota sits atop the NFC North.

Kickoff Sunday is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
